In what looks to be the Champions League clash of the week, Bayern Munich tonight host Barcelona in a hugely intriguing match.
The Bundesliga side have dominated this match-up in recent seasons, winning 3-0 home and away last season while there was an 8-2 quarter-final success two years ago.
Much has changed since then though for Barcelona, Xavi’s side looking stronger than they have for quite some time. That’s been helped by the arrival of Robert Lewandowski, who has nine goals in six appearances since his summer arrival and he will be desperate to score against his former club.

Bayern have drawn their last three Bundesliga matches, leaving them third in the table after six matches, though they were impressive for large periods of their 2-0 win over Inter Milan last week.
