Full-time: Bayern Munich 4-2 Dortmund

And that’s that. The final scoreline is mighty generous to Dortmund, who self-destructed early, took a comprehensive pummelling thereafter, and scored two goals out of the blue once the game was well lost. As for Bayern, Thomas Tuchel’s reign gets off to a very good start indeed – they go top of the table by two points. With eight games to go, Dortmund can absolutely win this. But they will do well to recover momentum and morale after tonight. It was bad.

Goal! Bayern 4-2 Dortmund (Malen 91)

Another Dortmund goal from nothing as Malen stalks down the left, cuts infield, exchanges passes with Guerreiro and tucks a very tidy finish inside the far post.
