Cristiano Ronaldo has been offered to Chelsea - but Manchester United do not want to let him go to a Premier League rival.
United superstar Ronaldo, 37, has asked to leave Old Trafford if another club comes in because he wants to play in the Champions League next season. Ronaldo’s camp have now been offering him around to other clubs with Chelsea one potential destination for the Portugal superstar.
Chelsea’s new owner Todd Boehly has met with Ronaldo’s advisors - led by Jorge Mendes - and he could appeal as a superstar signing for the new regime at Stamford Bridge. But the idea would not appeal to United who do not want him to leave as he has another left on his mega contract - and letting him join a direct rival is even less appealing.
