Inter Milan try to ward off interest
Chelsea could be set to be handed a major blow in the race to sign Inter Milan wide-man Ivan Perisic ahead of the summer. football.london understand that there is concrete interest from the Blues, who tried to sign the 33-year-old in the January transfer window.
According to Sports Mediaset, Perisic has demanded a new three-year deal worth just under £100,000-per-week with Inter, but they've offered him two-year deal worth around £65,000-per-week instead. But, amid growing speculation regarding the Croatian's future, Fabrizio Romano has outlined that the Italian giants have improved their proposal in a bid to ward off interest.

The report claims that Inter have offered Perisic a €5million-net-salary per-season (£4.2million) plus add-ons. Romano added that the wide-man will now hold a meeting with his agents before making a decision.
Chelsea and Bayern battle for centre-back
Chelsea and Bayern Munich are set to battle it out for Rangers centre-half Calvin Bassey in the summer transfer window, according to Spanish outlet Fichajes. The 22-year-old has impressed this season for the Scottish giants, guiding Giovanni van Bronckhorst's side to the Europa League final.
He's featured 50 times for Rangers this season after leaving Leicester City two years ago in search of first-team opportunities. Bassey is a versatile defender who can operate as a left-back or centre-back in a four-man defence and on the left of a back-three.
Tuchel plans talks with Azpilicueta
Thomas Tuchel plans to holds talks with Cesar Azpilicueta in the coming weeks in a bid to try convince the defender to stay at Stamford Bridge, according to the Evening Standard. The 32-year-old, who has just one year left on his deal in west London, triggered an extension in his contract this season after fulfilling a clause which depended on the number of games played.
Azpilicueta is among several defenders at Chelsea who have been linked with a move to Barcelona this summer. Widespread reports claim that both Marcos Alonso and Andreas Christensen could arrive at the Camp Nou.
