Bayern Munich's sporting director is willing to come to England to engage in 'concrete negotiations' with Liverpool for the transfer of Sadio Mane.
That's according to German media outlet SPortBild, who claim Hasan Salihamidžić is ready to take the next step in the acquisition of the Senegalese forward by sitting down with the Reds to see what sort of deal can be done. The Bavarian boss is prepared to travel to the UK alongside Bayern's CEO and former goalkeeper Oliver Khan in an attempt to convince Liverpool to let one of their prize assets leave Merseyside.
SportBild claim that Salihamidžić has been in close contact with the Reds' sporting director, Julian Ward, and are ready to table a three-year contract for Mane. Liverpool rejected an initial bid from the Bundesliga champions of £21million plus a further £4million in add-ons and reports today suggest a second offer has also been dismissed.

Mane has been pivotal to Jurgen Klopp's success at Anfield for the past six seasons, scoring 120 goals in all competitions and helping the club to win practically every major honour on offer to them during that spell.
The 30-year-old recently sent tongues wagging after suggesting he would leave it up to the Senegalese people to decide where he would play his football next season, a comment he later backtracked on, describing it as a joke.
