Battlefield 6 Season 1 release time, Battlefield: REDSEC launch and roadmap

EA SPORTS Battlefield Season 1
A promotional shot of Battlefield 6.

Battlefield 6 Season 1 launches later today (October 28). It'll start by adding new weapons and a new vehicle, alongside a brand new map. From there, there are major updates planned right up until the end of the year, then presumably EA will detail the following season.

Battlefield: REDSEC is the brand new battle royale mode coming as part of Season One. We don't know much about it yet, but we do know it'll launch later today, at the same time as the major update. You can follow long on launch day in our Battlefield: REDSEC live coverage blog.
