While Electronic Arts and Battlefield Studios saw incredible success in 2025 with the launch of Battlefield 6 in October — the game ended up performing so well across Xbox, PC, and PS5 that it became the best-selling title of the year — its monumental popularity dropped sharply heading into 2026, with many players disappointed in the slow development of new maps, features, and important fixes to critical issues.

Since then, that's left Battlefield fans wondering what will ultimately come to the game this year — and now, thanks to an extensive new roadmap, we have our answer.
