Batgirl star Michael Keaton delighted staff at a Glasgow restaurant after popping in for a bite to eat.
The Hollywood star posed for a photo at La Lanterna, on Hope Street in the city centre, after enjoying a delicious meal.
The 70-year-old actor is back in Glasgow to reprise his role as Batman in the new Batgirl movie, which has been filming in the town since late last year.
And staff at the Glasgow eatery were delighted by their special guest and took to Twitter to share the news.
They wrote: "We had a very special guest pop in for dinner over the weekend. None other than Michael Keaton, the original Batman. He’s in town filming Batgirl. It was our absolute pleasure to meet Michael; he even says he will be back for tea before he heads home."
Keaton has been testing out various restaurants in Glasgow as he was also spotted posing for a photo with staff at Sarti in Bath Street.
They shared the snap on social media, writing: ""We had a surprise visit from a Hollywood legend last night - Michael Keaton! Really nice guy who was only too happy to join the team for a quick photo!"
The actor arrived at Glasgow Airport on board a private jet a week ago, just days after his stunt double was spotted filming scenes wearing the iconic Batsuit under the Kingston Bridge alongside fellow American actor JK Simmons.
The Batgirl crew have been busy as they continue to shoot further scenes around the city, with activity spotted near Glasgow Cathedral.
Additional scenes are also to be shot in the coming days on Hanover Street off George Square - where a fake tunnel entrance has been constructed - as well as in Tontine Lane off the Trongate among other places.
