"Basically no one at BioWare" knows how Dragon Age works anymore, says studio veteran, so don't expect a remaster like Mass Effect's even if one would sell "super well"

The Mass Effect Legendary Edition in 2021 provided the perfect modern way to enjoy BioWare's beloved sci-fi trilogy. Sadly, it's unlikely we'll ever see the first three Dragon Age games get the same treatment, according to Mark Darrah, who co-directed the first game and directed the second.

That's not for want of trying either, as Darrah tells FRVR there was an internal campaign to re-release the original Dragon Age installments, but logistics just weren't in anyone's favor. "I think what you want is a Champion’s Edition," he says.
