Vale of Glamorgan police officers are clamping down on anti-social behaviour in Barry following reports from the public about nuisance behaviour over weekends.
South Wales Police were out on patrol on Sunday night along the Waterfront Retail Park to act as a deterrent to late-night disorder.
Police have taken a pro-active approach and have been talking to youths outstaying their welcome on the retail park by reminding them of the impact their actions have on the lives of local residents.
The Barry police officers say it has been incident free so far but they will remain vigilant.
