Barry Ferguson is pretty baffled by the photo that emerged of Alfredo Morelos sporting an Everton jersey.
The Rangers forward appears to be winding down his Ibrox career with no new deal penned and his contract up in the summer. Michael Beale spoke of Morelos' 'unique' situation but talk that a pre-contract had been agreed with Sevilla was quashed while Galatasaray reportedly retain some interest in the 26-year-old's services. The Colombian was recruited for £1million in 2017 but Rangers are unlikely to make anything on his sale.
Yet during the international break the attacker sparked an interesting debate when pictured wearing an Everton top in a kickabout in his homeland. Former captain Ferguson insists his first thought should have been to pull on the colours of Rangers but that it is a sign he won't be at Ibrox much longer.

He told Go Radio: "I got it sent through, one of my mates sent it to me. I think he was just playing football on a public pitch in an Everton strip.
"You've got to have a Rangers strip on, why have an Everton strip? I think Morelos will be playing elsewhere in the summer, I don't think he will be staying at Rangers."
