Rangers hero Ferguson admits Celtic were clearly the better team 'in all departments' but neither does he hide from the fact his former side were simply not good enough. The player turned pundit was straight to the point, admitting mistakes can happen on the park but the extensive errors on at the weekend are simply inexcusable.
In his weekly Record Sport column, the former Rangers captain insisted Ibrox boss Gio van Bronckhorst had Celtic counterpart Ange Postecoglou 'sussed' ahead of the first Old Firm meeting of the season. But things weren't to be for Rangers and his men who saw their visit to Glasgow's east end leave them disappointed. The result means the Hoops top the table by five points, something of concern to the Govan outfit this early in the campaign.
