Barry Ferguson reckons Allan McGregor WILL sign a new deal with Rangers.
The 40-year-old is out of contract this summer and is taking time to ponder his next move.
An emotional McGregor was subbed on in the final moments of the Scottish Cup Final win over Hearts in what appeared to be a swansong for the veteran goalie.

However, Rangers legend Fergie has an 'inkling' he will return next season.
He described his old pal as a 'top goalkeeper' as he revealed the duo have been in communication over the past few days about his Ibrox future.
Speaking on Go Radio, Ferguson said: "I'm 50-50. I would love him to stay and I still think he's got it in him to play, I still think he's a top goalkeeper.
"Allan will make the decision himself and I think everybody will respect that.
"I think he mentioned he's going to take a bit of time out for a week or two and go on holiday with the family, and then he'll make his decision.
"But I'm hopeful he'll stay on another year.
"If you're asking my opinion, I honestly don't know. I tried to get it out of him!"
After being asked what McGregor said, Ferguson replied: "Nothing! He's a man of few words.
"Whatever he decides to do, you've got to respect it because he's the best goalkeeper I played with and I played with some unbelievable goalkeepers in my time.
"I just think the last three years, for Rangers to go and sign him on a free transfer was unbelievable business.
"I knew him as a young boy, 15-years-old, and I could tell straight away that this guy had a massive future in the game.
"Whatever he does, I've got an inkling he's going to stay."
