Barron Trump was reportedly targeted in a chilling assassination fantasy broadcast on Iranian state-linked television in Tehran in August, with the programme using AI-generated images of the 20-year-old playing Xbox in an Arsenal shirt and detailing supposed ways to reach him in Trump Tower.

The disturbing focus on Barron followed a separate Iranian propaganda clip last month titled How to Kill Melania Trump, which appeared to map out the US First Lady's movements and favourite designer stores.
