Barron Trump launches new business venture that’s a nod to his childhood

  • Donald and Melania’s son Barron Trump along with four business partners, is launching a new beverage company named Sollos Yerba Mate.
  • The company's first product, a pineapple and coconut ready-to-drink yerba mate, is scheduled to launch in May.
  • Sollos Yerba Mate has reportedly raised $1 million in capital through a private placement, according to U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission documents.
  • The company's registered address in Palm Beach is linked to Jay Weitzman, grandfather of one of the directors, Spencer Bernstein, and is near the Trump family's Mar-a-Lago estate.
  • This venture marks Barron Trump's first step into the consumer business world, following previous brief forays into real estate and cryptocurrency.
