Barriers put up at Donegal beaches to stop camper vans and caravans overstaying their welcome

Barriers have been erected at some of Donegal's most popular beaches to prevent camper vans and caravans from overstaying their welcome.

The two-metre height restriction barriers have been set up at some of the most popular beaches including Kinnegar, Killahoey and Shrove.

The barriers, erected by Donegal County Council, will come into operation today and last until September 15.
