It was Plymouth Argyle and Ipswich Town who dominated the third tier this season but the Owls pushed them close, and Darren Moore's men will be determined to join the Pilgrims and the Tractor Boys in English football's second tier next term.

Standing in front of them, though, are a resolute Tykes side who will be bidding to get back into the Championship at the first time of asking, having been relegated last year.
