A regular bargain hunter who picked up a €2 ornament of a sleeping baby at a car boot sale was left stunned when they discovered its true worth.
Years after purchasing the item, the owner was informed that it was the "holy grail" of English porcelain and worth €34,000.
The keen car-booter spotted the white Chelsea figure at an event in Gloucestershire in the mid-1990s and kept it as an ornament for almost three decades.
