As we head into winter during a cost of living crisis, holidays may be far from the minds of many. And with the ever-rising price of living, it would be easy to assume flight prices will also be skyrocketing.
But one bargain hunter has revealed those wishing to get away from it all can still bag a great deal. Ryanair and EasyJet are offering particularly low prices for flights to Milan in the run-up to Christmas, starting at £20.
London and Manchester have the most flight deals available to the Italian city. But other airports are also offering bargains, from Bristol to Newcastle.
Travel expert Tom Church from LatestDeals.co.uk said: "Despite the rising price of living, it’s nice to see that budget airlines are keeping the prices of their flights consistent over the autumn and winter periods. If you can get to London on the cheap or you live nearby, there are some great flight deals thanks to Ryanair.
"I was pleasantly surprised to find that there are consistent prices between the end of September and the beginning of December. Whether you want a classic week-long break or a weekend getaway for you and a loved one, there are plenty of options.
"The flight only takes a few hours and luckily Milan is a great place to visit. There are all kinds of stunning architecture and classy cocktails which were invented in this stylish city. Plus, you get to avoid the touristy vibes of other popular destinations, such as Rome."
