Finding a reasonably priced home is hard to come by these days with house prices continuing to climb. In Greater Manchester, the average cost of a home was recorded at £236,876 in July, which is up by 17% from the peak of £203,277 back in 2019.

There are some cheap properties to be found in the more affordable areas of Greater Manchester, with homes in the boroughs of Bolton, Rochdale and Wigan ranging from just £20,000 to £70,000.
