Danny Mills does not believe Raphinha would be a "superstar signing" for Barcelona as speculation surrounding his future continues to mount. The Leeds United winger has been one of the standout performers this season and leads the way in the goal scoring charts with ten goals and three assists so far this season.
The Whites' perilous position in the Premier League has seen the 25-year-old linked with Liverpool, Bayern Munich and Barcelona. A relegation release clause of £25million would make Raphinha a target for a number of big clubs given his fine form this season, however the Whites now look increasingly safe from the threat of the drop.
However, former Leeds defender Mills believes the La Liga outfit could sign someone "more proven for £50million." The Brazilian is believed to have a £75million release clause in his contract if the Whites do indeed stay in the Premier League.

“I don’t think he would be a superstar signing," Mills told Football Insider. “Not as far as Barcelona superstar signings go, he certainly would not be anywhere near that.
“He’s a very good player, we know that. I’m sure there will be Premier League clubs chasing his signature and maybe some European clubs.
“But until they come in with some firm bids, we’re talking £50million-plus. There’s probably better value for money out there at the moment. You can probably get someone a little bit more proven for £50million.”
