Barcelona are hoping to agree a contract extension with defender Ronald Araujo, according to reports.
The centre-back, 22, has just 18 months remaining on his existing deal and has been linked with both Manchester United and Liverpool.
Araujo, who was signed from Uruguayan outfit Boston River in August 2018, has become a key player at the Nou Camp under manager Xavi.
He's made 15 La Liga appearances this season and won his first five senior caps with Uruguay, making his international debut in 2020.
Araujo hasn't signed a contract renewal since being promoted from the "B" team and Barcelona are now in danger of losing him.

According to Catalan outlet El Nacional via the Daily Mail, Liverpool have opened talks with the highly-rated defender.
Man Utd have also "moved" and confessed their love for Araujo, as reported by Spanish newspaper Marca. Chelsea and Real Madrid have also been linked with the talent.
Cash-strapped Barcelona could command a transfer fee if they decide to sell him in the next two transfer windows, although it's believed that's not on their agenda.
According to Spanish outlet Mundo Deportivo, Barcelona have scheduled a meeting with Araujo and his representatives to agree a new deal.
The player has just bought a house in Catalonia and is said to be open to extending his stay.
Araujo has received plenty of praise since he was given the No4 shirt ahead of the 2020-21 campaign by Xavi's predecessor Ronald Koeman.
"He is proving to be a brave boy and he knows he has to improve," said Koeman in December 2020.
"He’s physically very strong and has a great future ahead of him. Hopefully he will continue with the number four for many years."
Koeman added last February: "Araujo has had a very good season. He is a young defender, he has learnt a lot, he has shown his quality, his physique.
"It's important to have strong, fast players... he needs to improve his play on the ball, but he brings a lot to the table."
Speaking about Araujo's form in the same month, Barcelona legend Gerard Pique claimed: "Araujo is a great centre-back, and will be for 10 or 15 years.
"He has everything. He is very young and has a very good head. Also, he is physically strong, fast and powerful, and has good ball control.
"La Masia is working very well and during his time in Segunda B with the youth team he matured, and now with the first team he has taken the opportunity.
"We need to help him to be the best player possible."
Discussing Araujo last November, Xavi said: "I’m very happy to have Ronald on the team. He has such a great personality.
"He celebrates everything and to have that type of profile as a defender, to be so engaged with the team, and celebrate everything is hard to find.
"We welcome him with open arms because it’s spectacular to see him train, he’s so positive, he has an excellent character and that’s fundamental to us."
