The Reds stormed to a 3-0 first half lead following goals from Ibrahima Konate and a brace from Sadio Mane. Karim Adeyemi

Liverpool are claimed to be one of four clubs “in talks” with the 20-year-old striker. The Germany international has scored 20 goals in 38 games for Red Bull Salzburg this season.
It is reported by PSG Talk, via Sky Sport Austria, that a move to Borussia Dortmund is “nearing completion” but discussions have continued with other clubs. The Reds are named alongside PSG and RB Leipzig as the clubs that have given a “new twist” to Aeyemi’s future.
The report states that the forward is valued by the Austria club at £29m. With his contract set to run until 2024, Salzburg are reportedly in a strong position to accept a “top offer” for the young striker.
Who?
Ronald Araujo

What?
Barcelona are aware of Liverpool’s “interest” in defender Ronald Araujo. The 23-year-old centre-back has become a mainstay of Barcelona’s backline in recent seasons.
The report suggests that both Liverpool and Manchester United have been monitoring the defender, whose current deal is set to expire in 2023. Barcelona’s contract talks had also previously broken down with the Uruguayan.
However the Catalan club have re-opened negotiations and now aim to “end Liverpool’s hopes” of a transfer by announcing a new contract for the defender. It is suggested that the new deal will run until 2026 and include a €1bn release clause.
Who?
Benjamin Sesko
Where?
What?
Liverpool are reportedly rivalling Bayern Munich and Real Madrid for Red Bull Salzburg striker Benjamin Sesko. A team mate of Adeyemi’s, the 18-year-old has contributed nine goals and seven assists across all competitions this term.
The effectiveness of the teenage striker has allegedly not gone unnoticed, with the report suggesting that the Reds will provide “competition” for Sesko’s signature. It is suggested that the Slovenian striker could be a long-term signing for Bayern, should star striker Robert Lewandowski leave the club.
Despite still being a teenager, the Slovenia international has registered a goal or assist every 81 minutes this season. However, both Real Madrid and Liverpool have begun “setting their sights” on Sesko, meaning Bayern could face a battle to sign the young forward.
