Barcelona are reportedly considering a summer move for Jorginho when the Italian international's Chelsea contract expires, according to The Mirror.
With only 10 months left to run on his current deal, the 30-year-old will be available to talk to overseas clubs from January, unless he signs extended terms at Stamford Bridge.
The Catalan club are said to be searching for a midfielder to replace club captain Sergio Busquets, who turns 35 next summer, and Jorginho's status as a possible free-agent means the Brazil-born star is an attractive proposition for cash-strapped Barca.

Having arrived in West London alongside boss Maurizio Sarri in 2019, the former Napoli man initially struggled to impress supporters throughout his first season in the Premier League but has since become a key part of Chelsea's midfield. He played all 90 minutes of the Blues' Champions League final win against Manchester City in 2021.
Reports of a move away shortly follow Jorginho's admission that he and fellow teammates should take responsibility for the sacking of Thomas Tuchel.
"About responsibility, of course, because we are a team," he claimed. "It's not one person's responsible for what happened with the team and the group on the pitch. Everyone is responsible. It is our responsibility as well for what happened.
"We had a great, great time with Thomas. We appreciate everything he did for us, for the club, for the fans, for everyone. Now, we have a new challenge to look forward to, and we're very excited."
