She quoted Representative Jim McGovern’s earlier post on X, which perfectly encapsulated the sentiment of many critics regarding President Donald Trump’s deal to reopen the Strait of Hormuz.
Per Indy 100, McGovern’s statement, which Streisand amplified, simply reads, “So he’ll stop bombing Iran to reopen the Strait of Hormuz, which was open before he started bombing Iran. Got it.” The conditional ceasefire, mediated by Pakistan’s Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, allows shipping traffic to resume through the Strait of Hormuz.
