BAFTA winner Kerry Condon has told of her frustration as chat shows edit out “feckin’” from her interviews.
The star, 40, landed the Best Supporting Actress award for wailing “You’re all feckin’ boring” in The Banshees of Inisherin.
But she revealed she’s been left almost as frustrated as her character as TV editors continually censor the Irish slang.

The Tipperary star said: “My mother doesn’t swear ever. But she says ‘feckin’ all the time. But when you go on talk shows and stuff, if you say it they take it away... feckin’ yeah.
“It’s not a swear word. You can say it until the cows come home.”
In Banshees, Kerry plays Siobhan, the frustrated sister of Padraic, played by Colin Farrell.
Kerry, who lives in LA, told how she was conscious of sparking rumours of a fling with co-star Colin, 46.
She said: “I’m quite tomboy-ish... but it was a bit lonely, because you can’t as a girl be hanging out with the fellas all the time.
“Because it’s like, ‘Oh, she’s sleeping with Colin!’.
“But I didn’t mind because there’s strength in solitude. And I feel like, that was great to learn.”
There were rumours about Kerry and former wildman Farrell after they starred in BBC drama Ballykissangel near the start of her career. The pair were reunited in Irish film Intermission where Farrell’s character punched her in the face in a café.
The actress, tipped for an Oscar, said of meeting him at a party years ago: “I always regret the next morning how drunk I got with him.
“I’m terrible, I only need one person to say, ‘Ah, come on’, and suddenly it’s 3am.”
But she added he was a “pure gentleman” to work with on the film.
She said: “I’ve known Colin since I was very young, so it was so lovely.”
