Banksy has announced a solo exhibition that will showcase 25 years of his iconic work. It will take place at Glasgow's Gallery of Modern Art from this Sunday (June 18) for three months.
The anonymous Bristol graffiti artist confirmed the news on his Instagram page. The show, which will feature stencil work from throughout his iconic career, is called CUT & RUN: 25 years card labour.
It is set to be Banksy's first official solo exhibition for 14 years, running from 9am to 11pm between Sunday and Thursday, and from 9am to 5am (the following morning) between Friday and Saturday. It will reveal the process behind his original stencil works, including Mobile Lovers - from Bristol in 2014 - which features a hugging couple who are both looking at their screen over the other's shoulder.

Tickets for the show will cost £15 for adults, £5 for children and £10 for "student/ OAP/ low-waged/ tight-fisted". The event website says that a limited amount of "walk-up tickets" will be available each day.
It adds that the show will contain "tight spaces, fragile items and disorientating light effects". It is suitable for children and photography is prohibited.
Banksy said in a statement: "I've kept these stencils hidden away for years, mindful they could be used as evidence in a charge of criminal damage.
"But that moment seems to have passed, so now I'm exhibiting them in a gallery as works of art. I'm not sure which is the greater crime."
The elusive street artist rarely exhibits his creations, making this event even more special. It's been 14 years since he brought his artwork to Bristol when he took over Bristol Museum. T he exhibition was the most visited in the history of the museum
