Bank of America names new Southeast Asia investment banking head, memo shows

Singapore: Bank of ​America, or BofA, ​has named insider Dominic Tan as ​head of Southeast Asia investment banking, according to a memo seen by Reuters on Thursday.

Here are more ‌details:

* ⁠Tan will ⁠take on the role while continuing ​to serve as head of Asia Pacific consumer and retail ​investment banking.

* He will move to Singapore in the third quarter and ​report to Peter Guenthardt, head ⁠of Asia ‌Pacific global corporate and investment ​banking, ​and Martin Siah, head of ⁠Southeast Asia global corporate and investment banking and ​Singapore country executive.

* Tan joined Bank ​of America in 2020 and has led the growth of its Asia Pacific consumer and retail investment banking business.

* Antonio Puno, the current head of ‌Southeast Asia investment banking, will move from Singapore to London in the third ​quarter ​to join ⁠the bank's Europe, Middle East and Africa financial sponsors investment banking team.

* Puno joined the bank ​in 2006 and has more than 25 years of experience in mergers and acquisitions, capital markets and leveraged finance.

* BofA declined to comment.
