The pleasant weather is set to continue this bank holiday weekend with plenty of sunshine to come for Greater Manchester.
The Met Office has said Brits can expect "lots of settled weather" and "dry sunny conditions" before the end of the month. Spells of cloud are likely, and possibly some light rain in some parts of the north, but forecasters said any showers will "quickly dissolve".
The forecast predicts a mixture of sunshine and cloud for Greater Manchester and there are no signs of rain - yet - with the forecast suggesting that high pressure will likely keep conditions dry over the weekend and bank holiday.

Friday is likely to be sunny across most of the region, but some areas may see cloud cover, while Saturday is expected to be bright during the morning before turning cloudy for some. Temperatures are likely to peak at around 20C for some boroughs on Friday and Saturday, turning slightly cooler for some by Monday.
The region is set to get "plenty of sunshine", the Met Office said, with "generally light winds". However, temperatures could drop in the evening leaving it cool overnight, with a low temperature of around 8C forecast overnight on Sunday.
