Bangladesh has lodged a diplomatic protest with India after an advisor to prime minister Tarique Rahman said he was "humiliated" upon arriving at a Delhi airport.

Bangladesh's government strategy adviser, Zahed Ur Rahman, was stopped and interrogated for around two-and-a-half hours by Indian authorities, he said.
