Banda MS becomes the first música mexicana group to make it into People en Español "Los 50 Más Bellos" list

MIAMI - When People en Español revealed this week the celebrities included in the 2024 edition of their iconic "Los 50 Más Bellos" list, fans were surprised to find the members of Banda MS among them. It was not only the first time that such a big group of people were together in one mention, but also the first time that a música Mexicana group was on the list.

However, they aren't the only Mexicans in the Latin music celebrity contingent. Christian Nodal, Peso Pluma, Carin León, and Chiquis are also celebrated as some of the most beautiful Latinos this year.

Other Latino artists included in "Los 50 Más Bellos" this year are actors like Rafael Amaya and Carmen Villalobos, reggaeton artists like Omar, Natti Natasha, and Yandel, music icons like Ricky Martin and Luis Fonsi, TV personalities like Michelle Galván, and Clarissa Molina. "La Casa de los Famosos" stars Maripily Rivera and Clovis Nienow. Latino Hollywood actors like Adria Arjona and Eiza González are also included.

Banda MS in "Los 50 Más Bellos"

Being included in People en Español's list marks a significant milestone for the genre and highlights Banda MS's continuous and ever-growing influence in the regional Mexican music scene. With 21 years of relentless dedication and numerous accolades, Banda MS is an inspiration for young Mexican and Mexican-American musicians.

"We aim to be like Luis Miguel and Los Tigres del Norte, artists whose mere presence captivates the audience," said Banda MS leader Oswaldo Silas. The band's journey from playing in small restaurants and street parties in Mazatlán, Sinaloa, to collaborating with Snoop Dogg and performing at iconic venues like Madison Square Garden is extraordinary. Their impressive collection of 16 Latin Billboard Awards and four Latin American Music Awards further cements their legacy.

Banda MS is now nominated for the 2024 Premios Juventud.

Peso Pluma's commitment to pushing boundaries continues to elevate the genre to new heights.

Chiquis: A Diamond in the Rough
