
The attacks, which unfolded over two days, have so far claimed more than 190 lives, including civilians, security personnel, and militants. At least 31 civilians and 17 members of the security forces were killed, according to Balochistan Chief Minister Sarfraz Bugti. Security forces reported killing at least 145 attackers, including more than 40 on Friday alone.
Troops were seen combing large areas of the province after militants stormed banks, jails, police stations, and military installations. Major roads remain deserted, train services have been suspended, and mobile internet has been blocked across the province for the past two days.
