Ballymena United have confirmed John Taggart has resigned from his roles as chairman and director with the club.
Mr Taggart, who has held the position since 2014, will step down from the roles with immediate effect after the Sky Blues "regretfully" accepted his resignation.
The club thanked Mr Taggart for his years of "dedicated and earnest service" in a statement on the club's Twitter account on Sunday afternoon.

"Ballymena United wish to announce that John Taggart has stepped down as club chairman and club director with immediate effect," the statement said.
"After receiving a letter of resignation the Board of Directors met and regretfully decided to accept his decision.
"They, along with the committee, wish to place on record their sincere thanks and gratitude to the outgoing Chairman for his years of dedicated and earnest service to the football club and wish him well in his future endeavours.
"The Board and committee will further convene in due course as they move forward together."
The lifelong supporter of the club has been a director at Warden Street since 2000 and previously held the role of Vice-chairman.
