The temporary Bally’s Casino Chicago is in Medinah Temple, 600 N. Wabash Ave. (Ashlee Rezin/Sun-Times)

Chicago’s first casino opened in September at Medinah Temple, 600 N. Wabash Ave., where Bally’s will house its temporary casino for at least three years while it builds a bigger permanent one about a mile away in River West on the current site of the Chicago Tribune’s printing facility.
