The woman who was killed in a road crash in Co Cork had just attended a relative's funeral, it has emerged.
And sources have confirmed to The Mirror that the victim of the early morning crash in which a car ploughed into several people in the village of Ballingeary was with other mourners when the tragedy happened.
It’s understood there were two separate funerals in the area – which is around 20 kms west of Macroom – and mourners from each had met up to offer sympathies on their respective losses when the car struck her at around 1.10am.
