Baldur's Gate 3 Astarion and Lae'zel actors join D&D creator's official campaign, but not as their RPG characters

Baldur's Gate 3 screenshot showing Lae'zel, a Githyanki woman with olive green skin and tied-back red hair, smirking.

The actors behind two of the most beloved Baldur's Gate 3 companions are taking part in an actual-play TV series from Dungeons & Dragons creator Wizards of the Coast.

Astarion actor Neil Newbon and the voice of Karlach, Devora Wilde, are set to take part in the actual-play – a form of live tabletop game playing streamed for viewers to watch – series, aptly dubbed Dungeon Masters, alongside Dispatch star Mayanna Berrin and Christian Navarro from 13 Reasons Why.

It's exciting news, seeing as they'll all be playing D&D for real – but no, the Baldur's Gate 3 icons won't be playing their old characters.
