This absolutely dramatic version of this nightmare scenario recently went viral after a baker shared her story on TikTok and Instagram through the British creator and podcaster TXC (txcstories). The story, which has racked up more than 1.6 million views, proves that some people and their mothers are always bad news.
In the video, TXC narrated the baker’s version of the story, explaining that she had been in a long-distance relationship for three months, seeing her boyfriend, Sam, every other week. She noted, “We met on Tinder, and there have honestly been absolutely no red flags.” She felt their connection was perfect, adding, “He’s always available to pick up my phone call, he always messages back quickly. When he’s here, I have his undivided attention.”
