Australian actress and comedian Rebel Wilson is hosting the Baftas for the first time this year and although she is known and loved for her roles in Pitch Perfect and Bridesmaids, the star could have had a very different career.
The Baftas will kick off on BBC One at 7pm on Sunday, March 13, and before Rebel decided on her career in acting and presenting she studied for a law degree.

Rebel also studied a degree in theatre and performance, as The Mirror reports, and graduated from the University of New South Wales in Australia with a law degree.
Since 2020 Rebel has caused headlines with her dramatic weight loss where she lost 5.5 stone and shredded her image of being what she described as "the fat one".
From 2012 to 2017 Rebel played Fat Amy in Pitch Perfect and often used her weight in her comedy and to help her get roles in Hollywood.
Rebel told the Life Uncut podcast she began gaining weight in her 20s after she was diagnosed with Polycystic Ovary Syndrome.
She decided to try and lose weight after she had a "wake-up call" after going to see a doctor about her fertility, who told her to improve her chances of becoming a mum she needed to lose weight.
Rebel also told the American podcast Getting Better: Stories of Mental Health how losing her father made her realise how short life is, which also encouraged her to lose weight.
She said: "It took my father passing away to realise that life is short and you should be open to it.” Rebel also said that she relied on overeating to deal with her emotions and the pressure of fame.
She said: "I have seen a lot of celebrities get f****d up on substances and stuff and thought, ‘At least I am not doing anything crazy."
“But you can make your life better and not have those cycles. You can get to a better place by talking to somebody.”
The 42-year-old star admits she sometimes still struggles with overeating but with the help of an LA doctor she has been able to maintain the weight she wants.
In 2011 Rebel starred in the film Bridesmaids alongside British comedian Matt Lucas, who now co-presents The Great British Bake Off, and in 2012 the pair moved in together.
Rebel and Matt played roommates in the film and from 2012 to 2015 they made this a reality, living together in West Hollywood.
She now continues to live in Hollywood in her three million dollar home which is over 4,400 square ft with two living spaces and four bathrooms.
Rebel was born in Sydney and both her parents are professional dog handlers. She also has three siblings - two sisters Liberty and Annarchi, and a brother Ryot.
In 2003 she won the Australian Theatre for Young People International scholarship and moved to New York. Her first public work was The West Monologues, a stage musical she wrote, performed in, and produced.
Her first big role was playing Judd Apatow in Bridesmaids in 2011 and from there she has gone on to star in A Few Best Men, Ice Age: Continental Drift, Kung Fu Panda 3, How To Be Single, The Hustle, and Jojo Rabbit.
Alongside hosting the Baftas in 2022 she will star in the 2022 film Senior Year and is filming for The Almond and the Seahorse.
The Baftas airs on BBC One on Sunday, March, 13 from 7pm.
