Bad Bunny has released a new album called Un Verano Sin Ti, a 32-track selection of breezy beats that are no doubt going to become the soundtracks of the summer.
Un Verano Sin Ti – which translates as A Summer Without You – is jam-packed with collaborations including guest appearances from Rauw Alejandro, Bomba Estéreo, Buscabulla, Tony Dize and Jhay Cortez – all major artists in the Latin music scene.
The album has been produced by Max Martin protegee Marco “MAG” Borrero and Tainy, whose producer credits include global hits I Like It by Cardi B and No Es Justo by Colombian singer and rapper J Balvin.
As if this wasn’t enough, last night Bad Bunny released a music video too, for the new album’s breezy reggaeton opening track Moscow Mule.
The four-minute video, which was directed by Bad Bunny’s longtime collaborator Stillz, follows the artist as he goes on a road trip and then to a party – and it really sets the mood for the album.
Bad Bunny gained worldwide fame in 2018 when he collaborated with rapper Cardi B and J Balvin on the track I Like It. It reached first place on the US Billboard Hot 100 and received a Grammy nomination for Record of the Year. He then released his debut album X 100pre on Christmas Eve that same year, which was met with critical acclaim.
His two subsequent albums were also massive hits: 2020 YHLQMDLG won Bad Bunny a Grammy, while 2020 El Último Tour Del Mundo peaked at number one in the US – the first time an all-Spanish album had ever done so.
The artist has collaborated with J Balvin on 2019 album Oasis and on La Noche De Anoche with Rosalía. He performed at the Super Bowl LIV halftime show in 2020, as a guest on stage with Shakira and Jennifer Lopez. He also became the first non-English language act to be Spotify’s most-streamed artist of the year in both 2020 and 2021.
Bad Bunny has also won two Grammy Awards, four Latin Grammy Awards, eight Billboard Music Awards, and an MTV Video Music Award.

Last week the singer-songwriter announced that he would be playing El Muerto, a character from the Spider-Man universe – and the first Latin Marvel superhero to ever lead in a film. In March, we also saw the artist feature in a trailer for Bullet Train, a new David Leitch–directed film, where he was seen fighting Brad Pitt. It’s all go for Bad Bunny.
