Bad Bunny and Kendall Jenner have reportedly ended their relationship. The news was reported by People magazine on Sunday following a cryptic message from the model on Instagram and the fact that they haven't been seen together since Halloween.
Since early 2023, the Latin music super star and the supermodel seemed joined by the hip and were captured by paparazzi in numerous public sightings and shared moments, stirring considerable interest among their fans and the entertainment world.
Bad Bunny and Kendall Jenner dated less than a year
Bad Bunny and Jenner's relationship first caught public attention in February 2023, when the two were seen together in Beverly Hills leaving Wally's, a popular dining spot for celebrities. This initial sighting was followed by a series of public appearances, signaling the start of a new celebrity romance.
Throughout the spring and summer, Bad Bunny and Jenner were spotted together several times, although they remained tight-lipped about their relationship status. Their public appearances ranged from leisurely activities like horseback riding to high-profile events such as Coachella, where they were seen cozying up.
Gucci official
In September, the couple made an appearance at Milan Fashion Week. They were seen together at the Gucci show, a significant event given Jenner's status in the fashion world. It was particularly noteworthy as it fit into Jenner's busy schedule, with her walking the runway for Versace just hours after the Gucci show.
Then, they starred in a Gucci ad that debuted on Instagram. For many, it was the confirmation they spent months waiting for.
The calm before the storm
Despite these public sightings, both Bad Bunny and Kendall Jenner maintained a level of privacy regarding their relationship. However, since the beginning of the fall, there were hints that things were getting serious.
In an October issue of Vanity Fair, Bad Bunny, whose real name is Benito Martínez Ocasio, mentioned that he was improving his English for someone special in his life but chose not to elaborate. He also seemed to have written several songs about Jenner on his latest album, "Nadie sabe lo que va a pasar mañana."
The last time the couple was seen together was at Jenner's Halloween party. Prior to this, they attended the afterparty that followed Bad Bunny's appearance on "Saturday Night Live" in New York. These occasions seemed to solidify their status as a couple in the public eye. In hindsight, they were signs of a calm before the storm.
The end
On November 14, Kendal Jenner published the image below on her Instagram account. The text said: "What's meant for me, will simply find me." Many of the comments guessed her relationship with Bad Bunny was over.
After much speculation, People Magazine said: "A source tells PEOPLE that the Puerto Rican superstar, 29, and the model, 28, are no longer a couple...Representatives for both Bad Bunny and Jenner did not respond to PEOPLE's requests for comment."
The breakup is attributed to their busy schedules, with Bad Bunny preparing for a world tour in 2024 and Jenner's ongoing commitments in the fashion industry.
