Baby-faced tearaway who dealt drugs and kept guns became killer driver

A baby-faced teenage tearaway who dealt drugs and kept guns became a killer driver after smashing into another car at 113mph while high on laughing gas.

Shaun Tinsley, from West Derby, was jailed yesterday afternoon after crashing into Wirral man Paul Loller's vehicle "like a missile" on the M62. He then careered into the central reservation and fled on foot, leaving the innocent 61-year-old dying at the scene.

The ECHO can now reveal the extent of the now 28-year-old's extensive criminal record, which stretches back to his youth. His 21 previous convictions for 36 offences include "serious criminal activity" with his name first making headlines back in 2014, when he was locked up as part of a Merseyside-based drugs gang who trafficked heroin, crack cocaine and cannabis to Cumbria.
