A one-year-old baby who died at his family home had swallowed heroin substitute methadone and been repeatedly exposed to cocaine, an inquest heard.
Jackson Curtis Howell was found grey and unresponsive by his mother Anne-Marie Howell in 2017 after falling asleep while his father, Andrew Howell, sat nearby eating cornflakes.
The one-year-old Middlesbrough boy was rushed to James Cook University Hospital after being found unresponsive at his family home on Tranter Road, Saltersgill.
