‘Babe you just hit me!’: Man denies hitting woman’s car, proceeds to back vehicle into his own wife immediately after

A woman who recorded a heated exchange between herself, a man, and his wife, after the man backed into her car, has gone viral on TikTok after the man proved his poor driving skills on camera by backing his vehicle into his own wife after the argument was over.

The clip was originally posted by a now private account but it has been shared by bigger content creators such as “truecrimetalkwithsam” who shared the video along with her own thoughts on the matter.

The woman who posted the original video evidently began recording after the argument had already begun but we can tell that she and the guy are having a disagreement after he apparently backed into her car. The man’s wife is somewhat trying to defuse the situation but also seems to take glee in antagonizing the woman recording, saying, “you have nothing against us,” while blocking her from recording the number plate.

Who let this guy on the road?

While the man argues that the woman shouldn’t have stopped behind a moving car, it’s clear that neither side is getting anywhere with this bickering and so at this point he walks around the car to drive away from the situation. However, what he doesn’t realize is that his wife is still standing behind the car and as he backs up he accidentally drives into her.

While we can’t say for certain who was at fault for the initial collision in the first place, this shocking display of incompetent driving certainly tips the scales towards the blame being placed firmly on the man. If he didn’t even notice his own wife was still behind the car it’s very believable that he could have also failed to notice a vehicle behind him. The wife tries to nonchalantly brush it off, calling out, “babe you just hit me,” before getting in the passenger seat.

TikTok mocks the incompetent couple

Naturally, such such foolish behavior did not go without a good deal of ridicule by the denizens of TikTok. The immediate defensiveness followed by the man proving exactly who was in the wrong with his poor driving should have certainly been a lesson in humility for the couple, “I know she’s embarrassed” wrote one commenter on Sam’s video.

Others made fun of the way the wife tells her husband what he just did, mimicking her tone and words in their own parody videos.

We’ll likely never know who was truly at fault for the accident or who got the insurance payout but the video serves as an important reminder to always be aware of your surroundings when driving a car.
