B*Witched have been confirmed as special guests for Blue's concert in Newcastle in December, with the groups joining forces for what should be a festive treat for music fans.
It was in November last year that Blue announced they'd be coming to the Utilita Arena on their 20th anniversary Heart and Soul tour, having first shot to chart fame in 2001 with their anthemic debut single All Rise. After that made the top 5, Lee Ryan, Duncan James, Simon Webbe and Antony Costa shot straight to number 1 with follow ups Too Close and If You Come Back.
Other Blue hits include One Love, Fly By, Breathe Easy and another number 1, Sorry Seems To The Hardest Word, their duet with music icon Elton John. Like Blue, B*Witched came back into the spotlight when both groups and others including Five, Liberty X and Atomic Kitten appeared on hit ITV show The Big Reunion.

When Blue's Heart and Soul tour was originally announced in 2021, Atomic Kitten were on the bill with them, before former TOWIE and Celebrity Big Brother star turned country singer and X Factor Celebrity winner also joined the line-up. But, now it's B*Witched, rather than Atomic Kitten that fans can look forward to seeing on December 20, just a few days before Christmas. Tickets are now on sale from Ticketmaster.
On hitting the road as Blue's special guests, B*Witched said, “We are so excited to announce that we will be joining Blue on their Heart & Soul arena tour in December 2022. We have been wanting to tour together for some time now after nicknaming ourselves Bluwitched several years ago and are thrilled it is finally happening."
The C'est La Vie group added: "We’ve known the guys for so long and have always loved their energy and their approach, so we know this is going to be a mega show. We will be bringing our hits of course but we have a new single and expect some surprises from us too !. We want to put on an amazing show and can’t wait to see all the fans and some new faces too. What better way to end the year!”
After B*Witched debuted at number 1 in the autumn of 1998, B*Witched went on to land another three consecutive chart-toppers with Rollercoaster, To You I Belong and Blame It on The Weatherman.
