B&Q shoppers have been raving about an affordable product that eliminates mould from their homes.
With temperatures plunging this week, it provides the prime conditions for excess moisture to cause damp and black mould to form. As well as looking unsightly, it can cause a whole host of health problems especially for those who are already vulnerable with other conditions such as asthma.
Although there are more natural ways to tackle mould, investing in a dehumidifier is often the most effective solution. While some come with hefty price tags, B&Q is stocking one for just £10 that shoppers have been praising highly.
Birmingham Live reports that The UniBond Aero 360 Pure Moisture Absorber Dehumidifier is being raved by customers for getting rid of mould in their homes.
It features a 360° air circulation block which helps to absorb moisture, creating a comfortable climate and eliminating problems like damp and condensation.
It also has tabs which you can take out and refill any time.
Bargain hunters have also managed to spot the same product at Robert Dyas for slightly cheaper, and have left glowing reviews after trying it out for themselves.
One person said: "I purchased following finding some condensation in the en suite window. Popped one of these units in there and it certainly does the job. Very pleased with this purchase and would recommend to family & friends."
Another happy shopper raved: "Bought this product only last night and it has made such a difference already! You can feel the air is drier already. I have had the cheaper ones before, and they just take a long time to get started. We have started at 70% humidity, and it has gone down a few percent."
Somebody else commented: "These things actually work, extremely pleased with them, I have three and they keep wherever I put them moist free. It’s incredible. I recommend them for sure."
And another satisfied customer penned: "Such a simple product, surprised by the amount of liquid it collected. Really happy with the results."
