Shoppers are praising retailer B&Q for a budget heater that warms households for just 6 pence an hour, as the cold weather blows in.
As temperatures drop across Scotland and the wintry weather rolls in and energy prices remain high, people will be trying to keep their homes warm on a budget. Manchester Evening News reports that the cost of living crisis continues to put pressure on many people's finances.
However, a 'cheap' B&Q heater, the SupaWarm Deluxe Halogen Heater, is a budget option for those looking to keep the cold out of their homes. The heater costs £33 to buy, and is as little as 6 pence an hour to run.

The Halogen Heater has three different heat functions, oscillates to ensure heat is distributed evenly throughout the room. There are already hundreds of five-star reviews posted online, with people calling it "the best heater ever", and lots say it pumps out "masses of heat instantly".
One shopper asked how much the heater costs to run, to which another reviewer replied: "As I understand it is 6p per hour on the one bar, 12p on two bars and 18p an hour on the 3 bars. So happy with it."
One reviewer, who rated the heater five stars, said: "Instant heat, best halogen heater i ever bought, thank you, love it."

Another said: "These heaters are brilliant. I have only used one bar all through the cold spell. It is very cost effective works."
