Retail chain B&Q has showcased online their latest set of summer homeware items that parents, and even dog owners, are swooning over. On B&Q’s official Instagram page, the retailer posted a photo of a matching set of garden egg chairs catered for kids and adults, according to size.
On the post, the picture showcased two of B&Q’s Apolima egg chairs in large and small alongside the caption: “NEW! Give your little one a special place of their own to sit in the garden with our kids Apolima egg chair.
"Match with the larger Apolima egg chair to create the perfect pair, for together time in the sunshine.” It follows the egg chair craze that other big brands have already cashed in on in the past few summers.

Fans and shoppers headed to the comments section to praise B&Q’s newest products. One user wrote: “These are brilliant!!! What a fab idea. Another happily chimed in: “Absolutely love them, they're on my wish list!”
Fans also tagged loved ones to recommend the adorable children's chairs to parents, and dog owners also did not want to miss out on the opportunity. One enthusiastic parent of a pet pooch suggested: “Well I'm OBSESSED with these! I think our Dana would rather like the small one” alongside dog paws emoji.
Another commented to agree by adding: “OMG suppppper cute” as they emphasised they too couldn’t get enough of the “big chair and baby chair”. For more information on the Apolima egg chairs, you can visit your local B&Q by finding the nearest store via the store locator.
In other B&Q related news, the retailer is also selling hot tubs for the summer for just £199. Discounted from £285, the Lay-Z-Spa St Lucia three-person hot tub is the latest item with a sought-after special offer.
However, according to a report by Chronicle Live, many have taken to social media to argue that there will be a further price to pay for the cost of a tub in your garden, with electricity bills rising due to the ongoing cost of living crisis.
In addition, energy saving experts have warned that budget hot tub owners could see an increase of £300 per month due to the cost of running the appliance regularly - as the energy price cap changed earlier this year in April.
