Shoppers have been left perplexed after B&M announced a 'special edition' of a pack of chocolates will go on sale.
The supermarket chain revealed that Cadbury Twirl bites will be available in a brand-new strawberry flavour for £2.99. On social media, the supermarket chain first shared a picture of the new strawberry confectionery this week, where shoppers were quick to let them know how it made them feel.
Announcing the new chocolate on social media, B&M wrote: "It's always a good day when SPECIAL EDITION chocolate flies into a B&M! These Strawberry Twirl bites are delicious and a brilliant lunch time treat - plus they're only £2.99!"

However, many shoppers didn't seem as excited as the supermarket about the new edition. One commenter on Instagram said: "I can only imagine this tastin like Calpol," while another wrote: "Ooh not sure how I feel about that." A third wrote: "Immediately NO!," while a fourth wrote: "Oooh don't know about these. But might have to try them just to see."
Despite a largely negative reaction to the strawberry-flavoured confectionery, some shoppers seemed eager to try them out. One user wrote: "I physically need to go to B&M and try these," while another wrote: "Oh my goodness, these sound wonderful! I absolutely love strawberry flavour."
Another user added: "Oooohhhh love anything strawberry or orange but only in milk chocolate, gonna get these, deffo."
