If there's one sweet treat that could remind quite a few of us of our childhoods - it is the ever popular Jammie Dodger.
With its buttery shortbread and sweet jam filling, the British biscuit has always been undeniably a classic staple you could find in many sweetie jars across the country.
And it looks like B&M has decided to revive the nostalgic treat with a brand new flavour and it is definitely...interesting. Ok! Magazine reports the popular budget retailer has launched brand new banana filled Jammie Dodgers and they have left shoppers split.
The unique Go ba-na-nas Jammie Dodgers are inspired by the upcoming Minions film, The Rise of Gru, which is set to be released on 1 July.
It means the iconic sugary jam filled centre that we have all come to know and love over the years has been replaced with the new flavour. It comes after the childhood snack has previously seen apple and cherry flavour fillings replace the iconic jam centre.
Costing just 50p a packet, the banana flavoured Jammie Dodgers are exclusive to B&M - meaning you won't find them on any other store shelves.
Sharing a snap of the new product on Instagram, B&M wrote: "We've gone bananas for these new MINIONS Ba-na-nas favoured Jammie Dodgers!
"You can grab these banana flavoured jammie dodgers for just 50p. The perfect snack for kids and grown-ups alike. They're full of fun with NO artificial colours or flavours - plus they're suitable for vegans too! @jammiedodgersofficial LIKE if you want to try these?"
The post racked up nearly 2,000 likes and hundreds of shoppers flocked to voice their opinions on the new banana-filled treat, with many not being keen on giving them a try.
One person wrote: "That's so wrong," as another agreed, adding: "No thanks".
A third shopper said: "Couldn't think of anything worse," and a fourth wrote: "That's just odd oh no not for me".
However others seemed eager to get their hands on B&M's new Jammie Dodgers, and excitedly started planning their next trip to the popular retailer.
"I NEED them", wrote one person, while a second said: "Need these in my life #gobananas".
Others tagged their friends to show them the new biscuits, with many agreeing that they needed to get their hands on the banana-flavoured treat soon.
The Minions Edition Jammie Dodgers are priced at just 50p, and can be found in-store at B&M.
