An unusually flavoured gin has B&M shoppers in a tense debate over the festive taste, as some wonder if it is "a step too far".
The popular discount supermarket chain took to their social media to share that they are now stocking the new Whitley Neill flavours of gin, reports the Daily Record. One of these gins is meant to taste like mince pies, a popular treat at Christmas time.
With notes of raisins, cloves, cinnamon and nutmeg, Whitley Neill promises a festive tipple that will taste exactly like eating one of those tasty pastries. And while many people do love a mince pie along a tipple, some shoppers are wondering if the two mix together as a beverage.

Sharing the snap to their 1.4 million dedicated followers on Instagram, B&M wrote: "We don't need an excuse to try out a new flavoured gin - but it does help if it's festive!
"We took this bottle home with us (after paying, of course) and tried it... it tastes incredible! It definitely gets our seal of approval, and you don't even need too much tonic with it!
"Who fancies giving this a shot?!"
Hundreds of shoppers flocked to the Instagram comments to discuss the weird flavour, as there was a clear divide on whether it was an acceptable choice to drink the gin or not.
One Instagram user wrote: "Not sure how I feel about this…..but it’s Whitley Neil so should be good."
Another said: "I’d be curious trying this."
And a third wrote: "I draw the line here."
A fourth agreed: "It’s either gonna be amazing or b***** vile."
Another added: "Step too far?"
However, there were those among them who were more complimentary about the gin, and even commented how they "needed" to get their hands on it.
One excited person said: "Needs this in it's Christmas line up."
Another agreed: "I hope this is added to your tasting this year."
